Club: Blackhearts Cafe

1. What are your 3 favorite places to dance?

I have only one place, Blackhearts.

2. In social terms, RL Dancing and Avatar Dancing might be pretty similar. But in physical terms they seem pretty different. Can you talk a little bit about why you like to dance and what the experience of it is for you?

I dance because it’s an expression of fun. It’s contagious too. Face it, would you want to just stand around in a club? That wouldn’t be nearly as much fun to do or watch.

3. Can you say a little about Avatar Bodies? How do you like to look? Do you think about how others will perceive you? Do you think about how other avatars look? Are there any particular looks that turn you on or off?

Some avatars have surprised me on how fun they are, even though I’d never shape/skin/dress/gesture myself like them.

How others perceive me is incidental to how I want my avatar to look to me. I spend more time looking at my own av than any other. If I don’t look good, I’ll fuss with my avatar constantly, and won’t have fun.

4. What else should we know about you or about avatar life?

I don’t know what you should know. How about some lovely cake instead?

As a virtual public artist my work invites avatar communities to express their identity, explore their culture, and demand their civil rights.
