Diary #19

MARTHA’S VINEYARD, 1980 — Brilliant costume designs by the 11-year-old fashion prodigy Vaneeesa Blaylock for her summer production of… hmm… IDK what it was supposed to be called… but I’m sure it would have been epic. I think various artistic and technical differences resulted in a less legendary staging, although I recall the audience seemed very pleased with the performance nonetheless.

Some 1980 pencil sketches in my journal for various costumes to be worn in a summer play

THE HAGUE, 2012 — Wait? Wut? I actually used to use a pencil? Are you saying? Like? There was a time before Photoshop and a mouse? That really strains credulity. I think this history must be a lie.

As a virtual public artist my work invites avatar communities to express their identity, explore their culture, and demand their civil rights.
