YOU are SO right! This “pair” of boots by Beth Levine (1914-2006) is just about the most amazing thing ever! And, yes, the whole “costume” you’re looking at is just the “pair” of boots, the model isn’t wearing anything else.
What a wonderful future VB design contest that would be to have Designers create boots inspired by this Beth Levine work, and then the winning entry would be the entirety of our wardrobe for that performance.
