1. Who goes dancing more often? Your Avatar? Or your Typist?

My avatar goes dancing quite often, although occasionally I break into little jigs on the street, at work, or more likely at home.

2. Why do you dance?

In RL I do some dance moves to relieve stress. On SL I dance because my avatar is an extension of me, and if there is music and dancing it feels more immersive to be dancing. And I love immersion.

3. Is “Avatar Dancing” the same as “Typist Dancing”? Or different?

Only a bit. Avatar dancing is, arguably, far less exercise. But I do believe dancing inworld stimulates something in our brains. In much the same way, I’ve felt a bit enlightened after watching my avi do tai chi inworld.

4. Do you login just to dance? Or do you go dancing before or after other activities?

I actually dislike dancing on SL in general (after everything said above), especially with someone I don’t know well. My reason for going to dance parties is because there are people and friends there, and music I like to hear.

5. Do you change your clothes to go dancing? How do you like to look?

I always dress for events. I love to take care of my avatar – she is an extension of me and of my soul, dreams and creativity.

As a virtual public artist my work invites avatar communities to express their identity, explore their culture, and demand their civil rights.
