iRez World!

In this holiday season we’ve been reminiscing on 2012, our diverse pool of authors, our diverse identities, and the lives and worlds that we inhabit. About half of the 31 iRez authors have specified some geographic location on their Gravatar profile, and so I’ve plotted those icons on a world map.

Apparently iRez is partial to the Northern Hemisphere, and partial to Europe and North America. Perhaps this is not surprising as these are some of the places that The Internet and The Web have blossomed earliest. It will be interesting to visit this map again in December 2013 and see if our virtual salon has carried it’s conversation about art, culture, and all things identity to more of the globe.
