New Pix! I uploaded a model portfolio to Models.com today! Now we have to wait 3 or 4 days to see if they hate avatars or not! π My batting average with model websites is .500 so far: I’m in at ModelURL.com but I was tossed out by ModelMayhem.com Of course both of those are back from my regrettable skin bleaching days, so this is my first application as the real me! π
If you want to check out my page — haha — before they take it down because they don’t like my kind — you’ll find me at:

Model Portfolio: 21st Century
I really hope Models.com takes an enlightened view on this. After all, in a virtual world like Second Life avatar fashion is already big business today, (US$1 million+ in sales for Stiletto Moody shoes) and avatars are poised to go mainstream! Plus just imagine when all the dweebs at your office get their Google Glass! Yelp ratings overlaid on the street? C’mon! Who doesn’t know peeps are going to be throwing their WoW UI over their RL board meeting? And at the risk of being immodest, they might make a more persuasive presentation if they see themselves pitching it to, you know, meee, instead of their dumpy CEO. Oh yeah, it’s gonna be the avatar century baby! Thanks Sergey!
If you click on any thumbnail you’ll enter “slide-show” mode and you can use your arrow keys to scroll thru the pix! π
You’re too sexy for the internet! Hmm as you know, I dabbled a bit in the modeling (virtual) world. Of course my track record is not stellar when it comes to “real” web sites (500px) but maybe I should make a stab at Models.com π
aww, thankies! You could do http://modelurl.com, I’ve never had any grief from them. Over there I’m:

Feel free to friend me – I’ll approve you! π
APPROVE!!!
Cute pix! They’re crazy if they don’t hire you! π
aww, thanks Aero! How goes the cheerleading?
Cute pix! They’re crazy if they don’t hire you! π
“Hire an avatar model!” Brilliant stuff, I hope they keep you!
(I must say that the Vaneeesa avatar looks a LOT more healthy than the usual RL starved models we have to endure.) π
