Light My World!

I’m often asked questions about my photography so I have tried my best to share everything I do on my blog. I thought I would share some links on this blog as well today.

  1. Computer Specifications – The one thing that helps me the most in achieving high quality and high resolution images with shadows and depth of field, etc.. is my computer, especially my graphics card. That linked page has a list of all of the parts in my computer and also some softward I use to create all of my images.
  2.

  3. WindLight Settings – The second most important part of my images is the windlight settings. In my opinion, proper lighting can really make or break a picture. This is where the environment settings come in. I’ve made a bunch of my own that I use most often and have made them available for you to download. You can also find more windlight settings created by other residents on that same page.
  4.

  5. Tutorials – Finally, on this page you will find some really helpful tutorials that will show you how to setup your viewer to take high resolution images, photoshop tricks and many more tips and tricks for high quality images. I have a total of 24 tutorials on that page so far.

I hope you find all this information useful and it brings you onto new adventures in your Second Life photography. I’ve also answered some more questions I often get on my “Frequently Asked Questions” page. For style details about what I’m wearing in this picture, you can check out my Artistic Libra post on my blog.

  1. haha, I almost typed “wow Berry, this photo is so great” — but IDK if you’ve ever published a photo on iRez that was anything less than “great!” 🙂

I guess in addition to the tech items you’ve mentioned today you also combine great wardrobe, avatar design & posing, etc. You really bring it all together!

Thank you, as always, for sharing it with us!
