A 36 Day Walk

CYBERSPACE, 2 July — From 27 January to 2 March of this year I went on an ambitious trek. I took a “Photo a Day,” as I walked across large virtual archipelagos. I’m finally ready to start walking again, but it’s changed a little. Now my walking will be a part of “The World Today” feature here on iRez. Since this new walk might be different from the one I left off on, this seemed like a nice moment to put those 36 days on a page so you can scroll thru the adventure.

You can find the individual days in the early pages of the World Today archive, and you can find maps and GPS coordinates on Flickr:

You might also like to hit F11 and put your browser in “full screen” mode.

As a virtual public artist my work invites avatar communities to express their identity, explore their culture, and demand their civil rights.
