  1. Nice stats, 20.000 views, well done!
I found the breakdown of my blog to be completely wrong, quoting some random day to be the most popular. I got the impression it ignored the stats from december and perhaps even November too.

  2. Huh, that’s weird. The stats they show us *seem* about right. I’d love to run Google Analytics, but you have to switch over to “WordPress.org” to do that, “WordPress.com” won’t allow it.

It’s funny, we do seem to have a few readers (I”m sure traffic will double when we post YOUR guest piece! 😛 But the lifetime traffic to iRez is less than ONE post from Nightflower! So, it’s all relative.

Actually the number of readers we appear to have is really nice, but so many of them only come because they search for the word “catsuit” and find that “Unitards & Catsuits” post. And if you look at the search term list that brings peeps here, it’s mostly “sex terms” and those probably aren’t actually bringing peeps who’re really interested in our stuff. (apparently there’s a lot of sex on the internets – who knew! 🙂

It seemed like your “side project” was getting A LOT of traffic! Did that end up generating bigger numbers than the main blog itself?

    1. I laughed at the catsuit search term as well!
Yeah my recent post about the secret and hidden location doubled my hits since it launched, and these days, I get more hits on that article than the home page. I think it’s because I hit a niche. Trying to search for info myself gave almost no relevant results, so the initial locations I found were my personal discoveries, now people just put me to work in the comments haha!

In a way, I dislike the fact that my “consumation” posts are the most popular, I don’t think they make people return, they are easily read and then that’s it.

  3. OH!!! And be warned, the WordPress “Stats Helper Monkeys” are SO cute!!! But apparently if you try to feed them they can claw the living crap out of you!! O_o

  4. OH, BTW, do you get this? I often “pingback” (add links to previous blog posts) and WordPress lists them as “comments” to those earlier blog posts.

Recently (possibly after adding Aero & Agnes so that I’m no longer the sole author, not sure) it started making ME “approve” my own pingbacks!?

    1. I have to accept my own pings as well. It’s like it’s the post that is also the author of the ping, and that’s why I have to approve them all the time. Would be nicer if the system could recognize pings from the site itself.
