In this work we returned to our origins. Human origins. Perhaps virtual ones as well. What sort of world was Plato’s abstract world of the forms. That unattainable realm where truth, perfection and archetypal qualities were to be found?

This return to the point of origin was not only metaphorical, but literal, as the cast of VB/CO commingled 30 of their bodies to create, in human form, a structure conceived by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, 25 centuries ago.

The performance took place 3,500 meters above the runway at the skydiving sim Booville. Viewer Environment suggestion was midnight.

In VB17 the cast created a Human Dodecahedron 3-1/2 kilometers above the Booville sim… and then… WE DROPPED IT!

View the magazine to see if, after 3 kilometers of free-fall, the cast parachuted to safety… or not…

As a virtual public artist my work invites avatar communities to express their identity, explore their culture, and demand their civil rights.
