Archipelagos

For about a week now I’ve been walking across two archipelagos… a mental archipelago of art… and a physical archipelago of islands… the reverberation of my footstep in one reality seems to sync up with the footsteps from the other so that the experiences seem to both spatially and viscerally map onto each other and become one…

Perhaps it is like a 3D viewer… where two separate 2D images are fused in the mind to create a single, unified 3D space… so too these separate experiences seem to fuse temporally and spatially to become one metadimensional experience.

Both experiences emanate from the same, recently embarked 365 Days journey of self-portraits.
