I got a postcard for Mr. Moo from Vaneeesa. It looks like she sent it on Tuesday (his rezday) but I guess Hypergrid Express is running a little slow, probably due to winter storms, so I just got it today.

That is such a powerful video of those kids singing in ASL. I originally saw it on the show when it was first broadcast. Thanks so much for posting it on here, things like this hit you right in the heart.

OMG Aero!

Yes, I’m with Dino! What a sweet video. We never talked about what video she was going to put with this post, but such a nice choice. And… I was there!

Well, not at Glee… but in that room… sort of…

I was in an ASL classroom once… peeps were giving “presentations”… signing some speech or something… and for her project one person chose O Superman by Laurie Anderson. She played the song, and signed the lyrics… but as it played, slowly, one by one, peeps in the room started to sign the “ha-ha-ha-ha-ha…” that “breath” that makes the rhythm line of the song.

It was such a moment.
