OMG Art People, please don’t hate me or think I’m crazy, but I decided to try out for SLCS! – The Second Life Cheerleading Squad!
Kinda crazy, I know, but it’s SO fun! It actually all started when I wanted a group for teens to dance. Cause I noticed that stoopid adults get all the action in SL… and then there’s lots of groups for SL Kids… but WHERE ARE THE TEENS!?!? Hello??? We’re people too! Plus, no acne in SL! Anyways, so I noticed that Vaneeesa and Trill are ALWAYS going on and on (and on and on) about their glory days back at SLHS (that’s why they did that whole tiara show, you know that, right?)
So I decided to create SLHS for reals… or for fake reals… or whatever… so Shanna and Megumi and I would have places we could dance together as teens. So then, IDK, but I thought it’d be fun to make SLHS Cheer outfits! I finally found Adriana Princess and her awesome shop Spankies and Adriana’s so sweet and she made the coolest SLHS cheer outfits for us!
So anyways, when I was searching around SL to find who could make the uniform for us, I discovered SLCS!!! So exciting! So then on Jan 18 I met Bella Szentmartony-Violet, an SLCS Captain, who interviewed me and said I could be a Feb trainee. Sadly, even though most RL cheerleaders ARE in High School, SLCS doesn’t have teens, so I have to wear an adult shape to tryout. But it’s still really fun.
So anyway, on Tuesday nite I started training with all the new SLCS future cheerleaders (we hope! 🙂

OMGGGGG!!! This video scares the crap out of meeee! We can barely tumble! I can’t believe we could ever do all that stuff. Wow! Crazy! We’ll see. I better stop typing and go practice!!!

This is super awesome Aero! 🙂 If you were my trainee you would be earning some great brownie points!
Hi Amariah! Aww, you’re so sweet, thank you! I don’t think we’ve met at SLCS yet, but I’ll keep an eye out for you at the stadium – it’d be great to say hi!!
Innit great? I joined a different cheerlead group and am having a blast, reaching, so far, Junior status as a cheerleader. We work with commands and formations as well as cool animations of cheers. There’s a great camaraderie among the members, too.
