By The Numbers

This is Sayrah Parx; Sayrah’s been an SLCS Cheerleader for… longer than I’ve been alive!! πŸ˜›

Sayrah’s also some kind of scripting genius or something – you know those “height meters” you see here and there that can tell you what your SL height would be IRL? Is that what the tell you? As a nurse you haveΒ  to be decent at math, but I don’t really get SL-to-RL measurements. I guess it’s a different world. Sayrah measured the SLCS locker room ceiling and it was 23 feet high! So, things are different in SL! And as everybody knows, peeps are kinda tall around here!

Anyway, forget the SL Height Meters, because Sayrah’s machine will tell you ALL your measurements (oh, and the only place on the grid you can find one is at SLCS! Ooh! Ahh!) That’s if… you actually want to know your measurements! (*giggles*)

This is me adjusting the slide gauges to measure my waist. No, they’re not cold when they touch you. And no, they don’t tickle at all!

(*giggles*)

The machine said I was 6’1″ and 32C-24-34

IRL I’m 5’3″ and 34B-22-32

So it’s funny that except for height which is way different, I wound up with all my SL measurements within 2″ of my RL measurements – hmm!

The machine says that Sayrah’s 5′ 7″ (without shoes) and 32B-24-32

So we’re really close except for height. I feel like my height is “average” for SL (but way taller than my RL height!) But then I look at Sayrah and her proportions seem just right… and then I look at myself (not self-obsessed AT ALL!!! πŸ˜› and I guess I am kinda tall… not “tall” for SL… but IDK, lankier than RL.

I guess it’s all Alice in Wonderland… and one pill makes you taller and one pill makes you small and the red pill dumps you into some crazy post-apocalyptic dystopia with some obsessed guy who thinks you’re the messiah…

But anyways, I guess it’s all relative! πŸ˜›

Thanks Sayrah!

I grew up in Friday Harbor, WA, and went to school at UBC Vancouver where I received a BSN in 2003. Now I'm a nurse at Children & Women's Health Center of BC. I wish I could tell you I went clubbing every night after work, but those days are pretty much behind me. My boyfriend is a bit of a gamer, but I'm not fond of battles & killing stuff, so I rarely join him. Sometimes I play Second Life instead: it's fun to unleash my inner cheerleader! :)
