S&TVC – Breaking For The Holidays

I’ve just returned from yet another journey into real life and I’m exhausted.

My life is changing. My identity is changing. I’m becoming someone I’ve never known before. Many of the fears that held me back are being confronted, and many of the actions I’d contemplated have begun. I won’t go back to the life I’ve lived or the kinds of relationships I’ve known. However, this isn’t the time to talk about those things.

In the past, I’ve plunged into the unknown, propelled by my sense of adventure. I’ve always believed I’m happiest out there dancing on the razor’s edge. But for now I’m mercifully pinned down to the Earth. I’m thankful to be stepping back to avoid plunging into anything. I’m happy with my life, both of them, but I need a rest and hope to let 2012 end quietly.

I’m taking a break for the holiday season. I’ll be around, popping up here and there, and I’ll be back in 2013. So, until then I’m wishing everyone a Happy Holiday Season!

In my second life I'm an adventurer, photographer, blogger, exotic dancer, geisha and socialite. Occasionally I find myself swept away in romance.

  1. OMG Yordie! So much intrigue! So much mystery! If the Mayan fakeCalendarDoomPocalypse doesn’t end it all with a bang, then 2013 is shaping up to be an amazing new year!

Thanks for all the great posts and presence and interactivity this year Yordie. Have a lovely holiday season and I can’t wait to see what new adventures HITCH(er) themselves to your virtual wagon in 2013!

    xoxo

    1. OMG Van!! Is today the end of the Mayan calendar? I mean, is this the end of the world, today? OMG, I better go out and get laid until we also dissolve into the cosmos. Where’s the nearest sports bar? Geez, where’s my Google map? Yes, 2013 is my kinda year too!!
